A society, that turns against itself is not able to eliminate its enemy without destroying itself.
The answer to an increasing thread from islamic terrorism is not to limit the freedoms of US citizens (increasing airport security, warrantless searches etc.). Only a "return to normality" can save the USA.
The USA of the 50'es was almost completely protected from acts of violence against it by terrorists. This was due to a functioning marriage institute, family and community that surrounded it. These are the values that energize a nation, and make it resilient against destructive movements such as islam.
This mechanism has produced a new threat: americans turning muslim. This is just one of many ways in which the current spiritual and moral void is being filled, and automatically breeds an army for the islamic movement to use.
What the United States needs to do right now, is to call a fast and return to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, as the first settlers knew how to do. The God who has blessed this God-seeking nation, is also able to save this nation. But God only acts on our behalf when He is welcomed to do so.
